Before the rebuild, TASK’s website had grown organically over time, making it difficult to navigate, maintain, and scale. Content lived across disconnected pages, accessibility improvements were limited, and managing events, resources, and updates required heavy manual work.
We partnered with TASK to redesign and rebuild the site from the ground up, starting with structure and clarity. We refined the sitemap and navigation, organized services and programs more intuitively, and created clear pathways for users looking for support, education, or ways to get involved.
A major focus of the project was accessibility and inclusion. Rather than relying solely on overlays, we implemented best-practice accessibility enhancements directly into the site’s foundation—ARIA labeling, semantic structure, keyboard navigation support, and improved content hierarchy—while also supporting the client’s request for a visible accessibility widget.
We also implemented:
- A streamlined events experience for workshops and community programs
- A structured resources and blog system for ongoing education
- Multilingual support to reach a broader audience
- A flexible backend that empowers TASK’s team to manage content confidently
Throughout the process, we worked closely with TASK’s leadership and stakeholders, iterating carefully to ensure the site aligned with both operational needs and board-level expectations.
The Result
The new TASK website is a clear, inclusive, and scalable digital hub that supports both users and administrators.
Key outcomes include:
- A more intuitive navigation and page structure
- Improved accessibility across the site, with continued enhancements planned
- Multilingual support to better serve diverse communities
- A cleaner, more engaging events and resources experience
- A modern, credible online presence that reflects TASK’s impact and professionalism
The result is a future-ready website that helps TASK better serve their community, communicate their mission, and grow with confidence.
